
Welcome to this self-assessment we call the Healthy Living Check-up© and thanks for being part of our effort to help people pursue healthier living. The fundamentals of this effort are very simple -- in fact, we refer to them as 10 Rules for Healthier Living. Here are the rules:
Eat
properly and in accordance with guidelines recommended by experts (5
rules)
Exercise
regularly and in accordance with guidelines recommended by experts
Drink
enough fluids and in accordance with guidelines recommended by experts
Get
enough sleep as recommended by experts
Limit
alcohol consumption to what the experts recommend
Refrain
from the use of tobacco products
If you want to know where you stand in regard to the healthiness of your own lifestyle, if you want to know the detail behind our 10 Rules for Healthier Living, please take this on-line Check-up. It asks 10 basic lifestyle questions and produces, immediately upon conclusion, a Healthy Living Report Card.
Upon receipt of the on-line Report Card, you could choose to pursue lifestyle improvements through the purchase of what we call Guidance Packs (each pack costs $8.50 and provides 14 days of day-by-day guidance). There is no obligation to purchase these Packs. We offer these because we don't want to leave people "hanging" -- that is, we don't want to show them where their lifestyle is not so healthy and then not give them some options to make improvements.
