Healthier Days Reports

Monitoring Participation

Healthier Days reports are accessible at any time by the employer and are real-time (meaning that literally up-to-the-minute information is reported). The following are illustrative of the reports available (there are more reports and others can be developed):

  • Member Overview
This report provides data about Healthier Days enrollment divided into employer-determined groups (for example, different office or plant locations). Two data elements are reported — the number of participants enrolled in each group and the percent of total enrollment by group.
  • Member Participation
This report provides data about overall participation rates, broken down by group.
  • Members/Date Points Last Recorded
This report (also broken down by group) provides employers with information about member participation — it shows how up-to-date members are in doing their healthy actions.
  • "Help Me" Program Eligibility and Participation
This report provides data about how many participants were determined to be eligible (based on the health risk appraisal results) for each "Help Me" program as well as how many are participating in each program.

Measuring Impact

In addition to the above types of Healthier Days Program reports, HDC analyzes the claims data each month and generates reports on a quarterly basis. These reports provide data about expenditures and, over time, enable the employer to see the impact of the Healthier Days Program.

The following sample report shows one way the savings realized through Healthier Days could be summarized for an employer. A per member cost within each ICD9 disease classification is computed for Healthier Days active members and for those employees and spouses not participating in Healthier Days.
