I started dieting about 3-months ago...it’s been 3-months as of 1/7/08. No sweets, breads, pasta, rice, soda, things of that nature. I cut back on my portions as well and starting taking a protein shake for breakfast along with several vitamins. I've been hitting the weights, exercising and walking/light jogging. I've lost about 30lbs. I've lost almost 10" in my waist and gained size in my arms, shoulders and chest....I plan to stay the course until I reduce my waist by another 4.00". About 1.5 years ago (as a CCM employee and Healthier Days member) I stopped smoking. I had been a smoker for over 20 years. Just thought I'd drop you a note.....take care.

Your program is great. I had planned to make 2008 my year to get healthy. Quit smoking, lose weight, and get over-all healthy. But having this program to give incentive to do those things is great. I look forward to going to the gym and working out just so I can come home and fill in my Action Record and the resources are great. Any questions I have I can find an answer for it in the resources and if I can't, I know I can contact you guys to find out what I need. Just wanted to let you guys know that I love all the help and the extra motivation.

Healthier days has really helped me, I was 137lbs, now I weigh 128lbs. In my action record, I concentrate on eating more fruits and vegetables and whole grain, and it has helped me to really get into eating more fruits and vegetables. The exercises in the action record help too! I feel great and I think, I look great too! All this without a personal trainer nor a nutritionist, only "Healthier Days!" and not only that, the incentives help motivate me as well. But the best motivation is looking at myself in the past, the present and looking forward to the FUTURE!!

Until I joined Healthier Days I smoked a pack a day (or more), lived a mostly sedentary lifestyle, and ate way too much food that was not good for me. Healthier Days introduced incentives to lead a healthy life. Since joining in September, I have completely quit smoking, have been working out at the gym five mornings per week, and eat much healthier than before. I now have claimed my mini-reward ($30 to charity), and have 480 points toward my major reward (sneakers).
